New Partnership: Conservation Lands Foundation
“Enduring conservation requires community. For more than 15 years, Conservation Lands Foundation and our Friends Grassroots Network partners have built and led a national movement of community-based advocates to protect, restore and expand places designated as National Conservation Lands.”
We are pleased to join the Conservation Lands Foundation, and their associated Friends Grassroots Network, as part of our continued partnership with the West Eugene Wetlands. The CLF’s mission is to protect, restore, and expand the National Conservation Lands through education, advocacy, and partnerships. Our Friends Grassroots Network is a national movement of more than 80 community-based organizations focused on protecting, restoring, and expanding National Conservation Lands.
WREN has always had at its core the mission to reach and engage the community, using the science and management context to engage learners. We recently discovered that the West Eugene Wetlands was part of the larger Federal Conservation Lands and we applied to join their Friends Grassroots Network.
