Mission
Our mission is to promote conservation and stewardship of the critical Willamette Valley habitats through educational programs for learners of all ages. Our work is bolstered by our strong network of environmentally conscious nonprofit and government partners. We strongly believe that the work of conserving our native habitats cannot be done without a community of like-minded professionals and engaged neighbors. Our partners include:
- Bureau of Land Management (BLM)
- City of Eugene Parks and Open Space
- Institute of Applied Ecology (IAE)
- Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW)
- Middle Fork Willamette Watershed Council
- Willamette River Natural Area (WRNA)
- McKenzie River Trust (MRT)
- Beyond Toxics
- Friendly Area Neighbors (FAN)
- Active Bethel Community (ABC)

We pride ourselves in giving community members and students opportunities to learn, teach, research, create, dream, explore, speak out, and thereby make a difference.
